Jessi had been out for a walk in the countryside that day. What she didn't know was that the American, who also works as a comedian, was about to have a good laugh at herself!

She came across an owl that seemed to have settled down in a meadow and was calmly observing its surroundings - or so Jessi thought.

For ten long minutes, the author remained in the belief that she had come across a rather shy animal and had even been able to admire it for a while.

But the truth was quite different!

In the end, Jessi painfully realized that she had wasted her time with a very banal branch lying broken in the meadow.

However, the comedian , who lives in Los Angeles, has a good excuse for this amusing mix-up: she had forgotten her glasses during the walk and was unable to see the object in the distance clearly.

At least that's what Jessi claims on TikTok, where she uploaded her video of the alleged owl. "So beautiful! So blurry," she writes about the clip.
