Fatal incident on golf course: Tourist dies looking for a ball!

Mallorca/Spain - A tragic accident happened on Mallorca: A 61-year-old British tourist died on a golf course after suddenly disappearing while playing with friends.

The man was playing a round of golf on the extensive grounds when he set off alone to look for a lost ball.

Spanish police are currently investigating whether the man was hit in the head by a golf ball or whether he tragically fell.

According to reports from The Sun , the tourist was found in a critical condition but still alive at around 5.45pm yesterday (Friday).

Rescue workers at the scene battled for over 30 minutes to revive the man after he went into cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful and the man died.

The exact cause of death remains unclear, an autopsy is scheduled for the weekend.

A local homicide squad has taken up the investigation to further clarify the incident.
