Beth Mcintosh visited a branch of the fast food chain in England last Wednesday and ordered a cheeseburger.

As The Sun reports, she went into shock just minutes after eating it and had to be rushed to hospital by ambulance as Beth suffers from a nut allergy.

Just last week, the FSA warned of possible contamination of ingredients in mustard traced back to a manufacturer in India.

Peanut allergy sufferers were urged to avoid products containing mustard until all potentially contaminated batches have been identified.

"It was pretty bad. I really thought that was it. Within minutes my face was bright red, my eyes were swollen and my throat started to swell up," Beth describes the dramatic moments.

It was an extremely frightening experience for her, as it was her first allergic reaction.

"I didn't think anything of it because of the mustard. I didn't foresee that it could end like this and thought I would lose my life." After around four hours, the shock was over.
