Gruesome murder: Man stabs friend to death, then calls workmen to clean up
USA - A gruesome crime took place in New York City: A man killed his friend last weekend and then messaged workmen to clean up the crime scene.
Jeremy Allen, 43, was arrested last Saturday after police officers discovered the beaten and stabbed body of his friend, 43-year-old Christopher Hahn.
According to the New York Post, the two friends had been out partying the night before an argument broke out in the morning. This escalated when Allen first punched the victim and then stabbed him in the head with a knife, killing him.
Shortly after, Allen sent a text message to a local handyman asking him to clean the house. When they arrived and discovered the body, he told his contractor he needed to buy bleach to thoroughly clean the crime scene.
However, at a safe distance, he alerted the police, who arrived a short time later, at around 10am, and arrested Allen.
Yesterday, Sunday, the 43-year-old appeared in court and asked to be released without bail.
Allen has already been charged with one count of rape and is on probation after being convicted of drunk driving in 2022.
