What's going on with Musk? That's why the tech billionaire is bouncing around here
Washington/Butler (USA) - US presidential candidate Donald Trump (78) has received prominent support at a large rally in Butler in the state of Pennsylvania.
During his speech, the Republican brought tech billionaire Elon Musk (53) to the lectern on stage. Musk used drastic words to urge the crowd to vote for Trump in the presidential election on November 5. "I believe this is the most important election of our lifetime," Musk said.
At the location of the rally in Butler, an assassin had shot the former president at an event in mid-July. Trump was injured by a bullet in his right ear.
The perpetrator was killed by security forces.
This election will be "no ordinary election", said Musk. Trump's opponent Kamala Harris (59) and the Democrats wanted to take away many rights from people in the country, such as the right to freedom of expression, the right to bear arms and even the right to vote.
Trump must win "to preserve the constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America."
If Trump is not elected, this will be the last election, Musk predicted, without elaborating.
Elon Musik to take care of US finances
Musk, who often promotes conspiracy theories, has been supporting Trump for some time.
The Tesla boss also regularly campaigns against Harris, against whom Trump is running. Trump recently hinted that Musk could be put at the head of a committee to review US finances if he wins the election.
According to Trump, Musk should cut government spending.
