In Sweden, another man was injured by gunfire in a shopping center.

He was shot during the attack in Sollentuna in the north of Stockholm this morning and was subsequently taken to hospital, the police said.

An investigation into attempted murder has been launched. No one has yet been arrested.

According to the newspaper "Aftonbladet", two people were seen running away from the scene. The shopping center was temporarily evacuated.

There was a similar incident just a few days earlier

Last Sunday, shots were also fired in a shopping center in Kungsbacka, south of Gothenburg. A man was also injured. Two 14-year-olds were arrested, one of them on suspicion of the crime and the other as an accessory.

In addition, a man was shot dead in an apartment in Malmö on Monday, presumably through a window. A teenager was also arrested on suspicion in this case.

The extent to which the incidents have anything to do with gang crime in Sweden has not yet been clarified. The Scandinavian country has long struggled with criminal gangs, which are increasingly recruiting minors to commit violent acts on their behalf.
