Bloody deed at wedding: Groom shot dead in front of bride
Greensboro (USA/North Carolina) - A wedding in the US state of North Carolina ended in a terrible tragedy. The 37-year-old groom was shot dead in front of the bride. The background to the bloody deed was apparently a dispute between drivers.
It was supposed to be the best day of her life. But it turned out to be the worst.
On Sunday, Tyrek Burton (37) and his long-term partner Kiara tied the knot in Greensboro (North Carolina). Afterwards, they were invited to a wedding reception at the Barber Park Events Center, where the bride and groom celebrated with their guests. But then events took a turn for the worse, reports FOX8.
That evening, Tyrek left the venue, got in his car and drove around the block accompanied by some guests. Then, according to the family, a strange man suddenly appeared and chased the passionate car mechanic to the parking lot of the event hall. The angry man wanted to know why Tyrek had cut him off.
The argument quickly escalated, other guests joined in and the bride also wanted to know what was going on. Then shots rang out across the parking lot. The father of the family was literally executed in front of his loved ones.

When the police arrived at the scene at around 9 p.m., they found the groom with numerous gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. The killer managed to escape.
Tyrek Burton was only 37 years old. He leaves behind the love of his life, Kiara, and their four daughters.
"My brother didn't know this man at all. They never met. He never asked him his name. They never shook hands. This was a complete stranger, and he shot him in cold blood," Brittany, the slain man's sister, told FOX8. "It should have been one of the happiest moments of his life, and then it turned into something tragic."
In their grief, the family is hoping for a speedy investigation and that Tyrek's killer will soon be brought to justice.
