Cancer patient gets makeover from hair experts: result moves both to tears

England - Hair expert Rob Wood from "Novo Cabelo Hair" in England returned to TikTok last week with a sad story. This time, the wig and toupee specialist had a visit from cancer patient Kelly.

The mother of a daughter is suffering from breast cancer. Because the aggressive disease has already spread and reached stage four, her chances of survival are very slim.

At least the British woman finally wanted to have hair on her head again when she came to Wood. Together with a beautician, he was able to help her so well that tears of emotion flowed at the end.

"The cancer has spread further and affected new areas of my liver and spine. This means that my current treatment is not working. So on to the fourth line of treatment - and all in a short space of time. Not ideal, but that's the way it is," Kelly, who is seriously ill, wrote on her Instagram page last month.

She is currently concentrating on the essentials: Making memories. "It's time to plan more trips, tick more adventures off the bucket list and enjoy life with the people I love," said Kelly.

Rob Wood and his beautician went to great lengths to fulfill their customer's wishes. The result can be seen in the video, which has received more than 130,000 clicks since last week.

When Kelly sees herself for the first time with a new hairstyle and make-up, she can hardly believe her eyes. She can't believe how real the hair looks and cries bitter tears of joy.

Soon Rob Wood can no longer contain himself either. Finally, the beautician hands them both tissues so they can wipe away their tears.

Kelly, who calls herself "Kelly Warriormode" on TikTok, wants to keep fighting despite the poor prognosis. Everyone can see how good her new look is in the video. So Rob Wood can at least give her back a little self-confidence.
