Dirty legal dispute continues: Ryan Reynolds wants to stop lawsuit, Baldoni won't let up
USA - In December, Blake Lively (37) filed a lawsuit against her co-star Justin Baldoni (41) for sexual harassment . However, he denied the allegations and a countersuit was filed against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds (48). The 48-year-old tried to prevent this, but to no avail.

Lively not only claimed that Baldoni had sexually harassed her on the film set of "It Ends with Us", but also that he had launched an alleged smear campaign against her.
However, the 41-year-old denies these allegations and later filed a countersuit for defamation and blackmail against Lively and Reynolds.
In March, according to People , Reynolds filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing, among other things, that there was no basis for his involvement. In this motion, he is also demanding around 364 million euros in damages.
He also stated that he had merely acted in his wife's interests and supported her and had not, as Baldoni accuses him of, been actively involved in tarnishing his reputation.
The 41-year-old also stated that the 'Deadpool' actor had urged an artist agency to drop him.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni trial set for 2026

Baldoni's lawyers have now asked the judge to reject this request.
They claim there is ample evidence that Reynolds intentionally targeted his wife's co-star.
In his motion to dismiss, Reynolds said the defamation claim was based on the allegation that he had privately insulted Baldoni. He argued that this was not defamation.
If the motion is denied, the trial between the two actors is set for March 2026.
