Emiliya (†36) should be dumped in the lake! Who did this to the mother-of-two?

Lucerne/Stansstadt (Switzerland) - The broadcast of the Emiliya Emilova (†36) murder case , which took place more than ten years ago, on the ZDF program " Aktenzeichen XY... Unsolved " has made big waves. TAG24 spoke to the head of the criminal investigation department about the information received.

In the fall of 2014, Bulgarian-born Emiliya and around 15 other prostitutes were offering sexual services in the Ibach-Quartier business park. She pays most of the money to her pimp, who lives in Bulgaria and with whom she is in a relationship. They want to buy an apartment together.

But Emiliya is increasingly dissatisfied with her job and wants to return to her home country, where her two sons live, sooner rather than later.

However, during a visit in August 2014, her partner is said to have persuaded her to go even further in order to be able to afford an even nicer apartment.

So the 36-year-old returned to Switzerland and, on the evening of 20 September 2014, had a driver take her and her colleagues from a house in Aarburg, Switzerland, to Lucerne, 50 kilometers away. It would be the last working day of her life .

A sex worker friend sees the mother of two walking off into the darkness hand in hand with an unknown man. Unusual behavior on the street.

It is the sex worker's last sign of life. Her acquaintance reports her disappearance to a police patrol that routinely passes by. The next morning comes as a shock: at around 9.45 am, a body is discovered in Lake Lucerne. It is Emiliya Emilova.

The dead woman is floating on the Kehrsiten road between Stansstad and Kehrsiten on the shore - around 15 kilometers away from the beach.

Three thin green wires are wrapped around the 36-year-old woman, who was strangled to death, to which the blue straps of a Migros supermarket chain shopping bag are attached. Apparently the perpetrator wanted to sink the woman in the lake.

The victim's entire outer clothing (dark jacket/poncho), red shoes, ladies' handbag, cell phone and a silver-colored ring-shaped ear stud have disappeared from her possession.

Even before, but also during and after the broadcast, the Nidwalden cantonal police received tips, its head of criminal investigation Senad Sakic told TAG24.

No details could be provided on the quality or content of the information due to the ongoing proceedings. However: "We have received further new tips, which we have already followed up or are still following up," said Sakic.

They are satisfied with the number of tips and are now carefully evaluating them all.

The police are still particularly interested: Who made observations on the night of September 21, 2014 at the street prostitution site or the place where he was found? Did the perpetrator later reveal himself to an acquaintance?

And who are the two men - one bald, 1.75 meters tall, muscular and with headphones in his ears, the second about 1.85 meters tall and slim - who were noticed on the street?
