Mother asks son how he reacts to strangers with lollipops: Answer makes millions laugh
Iowa (USA) - It's one of those questions that just about every toddler is confronted with sooner or later: "What if you met a stranger who wanted to give you a lollipop?" Mom Lindsey (31) from Iowa expanded on this question when she recently asked her son Rowan. In her "version", the stranger was sitting in a car and had a puppy with him as well as the lollipop. And yet, her four-year-old wasn't fazed - quite the opposite!

Fortunately, the American woman filmed the moment. Because in the curious video, her son replies: "No, thank you (...). My dad will come over and spank your sweet ass."
While the little boy runs out of the picture after the crisp reply, his mother can't help but laugh.
"I didn't teach him that. He's four, so it's always a surprise what comes out of his mouth," she said in a recent interview with Newsweek.
The 31-year-old also explained why Rowan doesn't mean his father when he says "dad" in the video - and where he probably got the tough line from.

Rowan affectionately calls his grandfather "Papa". He is allowed to watch wrestling with him from time to time, says Lindsey. Her son probably picked up the saying there. One thing is certain in any case: the TikTok audience has been having a great time since the video was published. In less than seven days, it has already racked up 7.4 million clicks and a good 785,000 likes.
However, as this is ultimately a serious issue, Newsweek asked child psychologist Ana Aznar for advice. The expert advises all parents to warn their children about the dangers of strangers as early as possible - but in an age-appropriate way, without scaring them.
And she emphasizes: "It is important to teach our children that even people they know can be dangerous and to explain to them what behaviour is okay and what is not."
