Scandal in practice: Woman brain dead after wrong treatment by self-proclaimed surgeon

Queens (USA) - A fake plastic surgeon (38) left a woman (31) in the US state of New York unconscious and in critical condition in his apartment after a failed butt implantation!

As reported by the Independent, Felipe Hoyos-Foronda was arrested at the airport on March 28 after apparently fleeing the scene following the shocking incident.

The 31-year-old had visited Felipe in his apartment to have her butt implants removed. The self-proclaimed surgeon had set up a makeshift medical practice there and injected her with a local anaesthetic. But it soon became clear that something was wrong.

Shortly after the injection, the woman suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest.

Felipe quickly called an ambulance before making off in his car .

The emergency services found the woman unconscious in the apartment and immediately took her to hospital. There it turned out that Felipe had apparently given her far too high a dose of the anaesthetic.

Since then, she has shown no brain activity and has to be artificially ventilated. Her chances of survival are extremely slim due to the poisoning.

The 38-year-old is now facing charges of grievous bodily harm and unauthorized practice of a profession. He is under investigation and the police are looking for other former patients.
