Six-year-old asks question about men and goes viral

USA - Sometimes children's questions amuse us all. This was also the case for a six-year-old from the USA who had a funny conversation with her mother.

In the short TikTok clip, the little girl asks: "Do you have to have a husband?"

Her mother's short answer: "Nope." What follows is a grin from the girl. The video went viral and has now been viewed more than eleven million times.

"Newsweek" now asked mother-of-two Brittney (34) how this clip came about.

"I saw a movie with a kissing scene, which led to a silly conversation about what age you can kiss," she said. Her daughter's answer was clear: only from the age of 40! She then started filming.

The situation was not particularly surprising for the 34-year-old. "We often have open conversations." However, she did not expect the clip, which has more than 6,000 comments and 2.5 million likes, to attract so much attention.

For Brittney, it is important that her upbringing is based on encouraging her children's self-confidence and individuality.

"As a mother, I just want my children to be happy," she said, "I never want them to grow up feeling like they have to fulfill any role. I'm here to guide and support them to the best of my ability, but ultimately it's up to them what life they choose."

Since the publication a few days ago, the American has received an incredible number of messages - mostly positive. Users are thrilled that their daughter is being allowed to grow up without social constraints.

For Brittney, the successful clip is a reminder of how the simple things can mean the most.
