Son stationed on military base - but then there's a Christmas miracle!
USA - It was a Christmas miracle for one mother: after several months of military service, her son surprised her with his return!
A Christian radio station from the US state of Georgia had concocted a plan to give Jessica Rivera an unforgettable treat.
As the Good News Network reports, Jessica initially asked listeners to the radio show to write Christmas cards to her son. She wanted to make him happy and show that she and the whole country were behind him.
It was supposed to be the first Christmas she would spend without her son Logan Rivera (21), as he was stationed far away at an air force base.
Jessica was initially told that her son would appear live on the radio show to thank her for the tickets. But little did she know that they would be spending Christmas together!

The radio station worked closely with the staff and officers at the airbase.
In the end, they granted Logan a generous leave of absence so that he could come home in time for the surprise.
"Wouldn't it be nice if you could give the cards to your son in person?" asked the presenter - at the exact moment that Logan was already sneaking up behind his mother.
"Oh my God!" cried Jessica again and again when she was finally able to embrace her son.
Presenter Beth Bacall emphasized that this moment was "a testament to the true spirit of Christmas: Bringing people together".
