Prince Harry (40) and Duchess Meghan (43) moved to the USA in 2020 and gave up their royal duties.

As The Sun reports, biographer Hugo Vickers said that the "truce" between the couple and the royal family was a good strategy.

Vickers also suggested that the pair had stopped giving tell-all interviews as they had "lost relevance".

"They have realized that this strategy is not effective as it has only created conflict," Vickers explained.

He added that Harry and Meghan could now focus on more positive topics.

King Charles (76) has a difficult relationship with his youngest son Prince Harry (40).

The biographer went on to claim that money plays a central role for the couple. "To make a lot of money, they sometimes have to act controversially or do things that keep them in the public eye."

When asked about the relationship between King Charles (76) and his son, Vickers said that although it was basically salvageable, it required compromises from both sides. However, he believes that a reconciliation in the near future is unlikely.

Vickers went on to say that Harry was drawing too much attention to himself through his behavior, which was affecting the perception of the King.

"The most successful members of the royal family are those who support the king in his duties rather than competing with him," the author emphasized.
