Tourist invades dangerous tribal reservation - to bring residents a Coke!
North Sentinel Island - A US tourist (24) was arrested for illegally entering a prohibited Indian tribal reservation!

As the Indian news platform hindi.news18 reports, North Sentinel Island is home to the Sentinelese tribe, one of the most isolated and endangered peoples in the world. Access to the island is strictly forbidden in order to protect the indigenous people.
But that didn't stop 24-year-old American Mikhailo Viktorovich Polyakov from traveling by motorboat to the north-eastern coast of the island on Sunday morning.
With a coconut and a can of Coke as an offering for the inhabitants, Mikhailo explored the area and tried to get the tribe's attention by whistling loudly. But no one answered and there were no inhabitants in sight. So he left his gifts on the shore, collected sand samples and recorded a video before leaving the island again.
Fishermen who observed the young man then alerted the police .
Polyakov was finally arrested on Monday and has been in police custody ever since. The Indian government has informed the US embassy of the arrest. He is now under investigation.
The tribe strictly rejects contact with strangers

The tribe strictly rejects any interaction with strangers and defends its seclusion with extreme aggression.
A tragic example of this occurred in November 2018, when the American missionary John Chau attempted to make contact with the Sentinelese in order to convert them to Christianity. The inhabitants brutally shot him with arrows, fatally injuring him.
Two Indian fishermen also lost their lives in 2006 when their boat accidentally ran aground on the coast of the island.
